The Mountain View Hope Center is becoming a permanent neighborhood hub—a place for shared meals, food distribution, showers, laundry, practical support, community gatherings, and worship.
More than a collection of services, it will be a place where neighbors are welcomed, known by name, and supported through relationships that grow over time.
A place built around people.
The Hope Center did not begin with a building. It grew from years of showing up—sharing meals, listening to neighbors, building trust, and responding together to practical needs.
As that work grew, so did the need for a permanent, flexible home. A few hours every Sunday just wasn’t enough. The Hope Center is about more than adding new services; it will allow us to be present with our neighbors more consistently. It will create room for relationships to deepen, for community partners to work together, and for neighbors to both receive and offer support.
What will happen here.
The Hope Center will open with services already rooted in our neighborhood and supported by existing partnerships, while creating room to expand those services and build additional partnerships over time.
SHARED FOOD & HOSPITALITY
Shared meals, food pantry distribution, coffee, and a welcoming place to sit together. Food and practical support will always be offered without any faith requirements.
PRACTICAL SUPPORT
Showers, laundry, and help connecting people with resources for housing, transportation, treatment, identification, and other needs. Support will grow in response to what we hear from our neighbors.
COMMUNITY & CONNECTION
Space for worship, neighborhood gatherings, recovery groups, partner organizations, conversation, prayer, and rest—a place where people can build relationships and participate in the life of the community.

The Mountain View Hope Center is a ministry of Mountain View Hope Covenant Church, shaped by our belief that every person bears God's image and deserves to be treated with dignity and care.
Our faith calls us to show up, listen, serve, and build relationships. We do not offer food or practical support as a way to pressure anyone into faith. We would rejoice if someone chose to explore or embrace faith in Jesus, and we will always make room for honest questions, conversation, and prayer. But participation in worship or agreement with our beliefs will never be required, and no one will be treated differently because they do not share our faith.
We serve because we believe this is what following Jesus looks like: loving our neighbors, honoring their dignity, and offering what we have without strings attached.

These rooms are still mostly empty, but hopefully not for long.
There is significant work ahead before the Hope Center can open its doors. With the help of volunteers, community partners, skilled professionals, and generous supporters, these spaces will become a welcoming home for our neighbors.
